Hello. My name is Shioya, and I am a staff member at this accommodation.
Today, I would like to introduce a family from Australia who stayed with us in the spring of 2025.
The family of four — a couple and their two children — spent a week here enjoying the sights and daily life unique to Japan.
I’d like to share their impressions and experiences that I personally heard from them.
This family flew from Australia and chose our accommodation as their base for sightseeing in central Tokyo. Spring in Tokyo coincides with the cherry blossom season, attracting many visitors who enjoy strolling around the city. The family repeatedly mentioned how convenient the access was to Asakusa, Skytree, Nihonbashi, and Ginza.
In Asakusa, the children were delighted to hold ningyo-yaki (doll-shaped cakes) while walking along Nakamise Street.
The parents enjoyed the historical atmosphere of Senso-ji Temple and were impressed by the contrast with the modern Skytree. They also visited Nihonbashi and Ginza, admiring the refined cityscape that embodies Japan’s sophistication.

What they especially appreciated was the “close location to the station.”
For families traveling with small children, a short walk back after sightseeing brings great peace of mind. They also loved having a convenience store nearby.
Since unexpected needs can arise while traveling, they found it very convenient to have shops within easy reach.
They also mentioned that “there were many restaurants nearby, so meals were never a problem.” Many eateries stay open late, allowing them to enjoy dinner comfortably even after returning from sightseeing. The location’s convenience proved to be a big advantage for families staying for longer periods.
The family brought a stroller for this trip — an essential for traveling with small children. However, in many hotels in Japan, finding a place to store it can be difficult. Our facility provides a dedicated space for strollers, allowing guests to relax and use it comfortably.
The wife mentioned with a smile, “It was so helpful to be able to store the stroller easily every day after sightseeing.” It made me realize how such thoughtful facilities can provide a great sense of comfort to guests visiting from overseas.

One of the most memorable experiences for the family was “letting their children nap and play on tatami.” Since there are almost no chances to experience tatami floors in Australia, playing and resting on tatami was a refreshing and enjoyable experience.
The parents happily said, “Watching our children relax and roll around safely on tatami became a precious memory.” The softness and scent of tatami symbolize Japanese culture, and experiencing such traditional living was a highlight for the family during their stay.
During their one-week stay, the family efficiently visited sightseeing spots such as Asakusa, Skytree, Nihonbashi, and Ginza. Our convenient location provides excellent access to central Tokyo, making it ideal for travelers who want to explore many places in a short time. The “comfortable distance from the accommodation to major areas” seemed to be the key to a pleasant trip.
They also mentioned that their stay “felt like living in Japan rather than just traveling.” Unlike a typical hotel, our home-style stay allowed them to experience everyday Japanese life, which was perfect for families traveling together.

This family from Australia enjoyed a comfortable one-week stay while fully experiencing springtime sightseeing in Tokyo. The convenient location near the station, stroller storage space, and cultural experience of a tatami room all contributed to a highly satisfying stay.
We, the staff, were deeply encouraged by their smiles and their words, “We’d love to stay again.” We will continue to provide warm and thoughtful service to ensure comfort for all our guests from Japan and abroad.
Our facility is the perfect choice not only for travelers visiting from Australia but also for families with small children and those looking for a convenient base for Tokyo sightseeing. Please feel free to contact us anytime.
